What is Childhood Arthritis ?
Childhood Arthritis also called as Juvenile Arthritis is where swelling is observed in synovium in the children aged 16 years or younger. This is also a kind of auto immune disease that attacks the body.
Joint Pains, fever, stiffness, fatigue and swelling are the symptoms in Childhood Arthritis. The symptoms might come and go but they become worse sometimes.
Medications like NSAIDs, DMARDs and different kinds of biologic agents are used for treatment of Childhood Arthritis. Physical therapies are also suggested to keep the joints flexible and to control the motion and tone of the muscle.
